MY STORY

I spend my days immersed in the world of healthcare and my nights chasing stories, starlight, and the quiet magic of the outdoors. As a neurodivergent, I move through life with one foot in reality and the other firmly planted in realms of wonder. When I am not wandering forest trails, I'm buried in a book or crafting my own, slipping into the quiet corners where imagination likes to hide.

A lifelong admirer of folklore and medieval history, I draw deeply from those traditions to shape the rich, imaginative realms I build—worlds that feel both ancient and daringly new. My writing leans into the magic between the lines, honoring the roots of classic fantasy while continually nudging its boundaries into fresh, unexpected territory.

These days, you’ll often find me in primary schools, libraries, and local bookshops sharing Splat the Dinosaur alongside my son, Zac—celebrating his voice and the awareness it brings to neurodiversity, one joyful reading at a time. I invite readers to journey with me as I approach the epic finale of The Chronicles of Caladh and continue nurturing several new adventures waiting just beyond the horizon.
